St. Patrick's Day

Today we had all the usual St. Patrick's Day fun: we wore green, we ate green coffee cake for breakfast, found all the gold chocolate coins that the leprechaun left for us, and discovered some LITTLE bits of mischief that the leprechaun did before he left . . . like putting bags of cold cereal in the wrong boxes . . . you know, LITTLE things like that!
THEN . . . sometime during the day . . . the leprechaun struck again. Only this time, it was in my room. And this time the leprechaun suspiciously resembled a boy named Jefferson!!
Oops! I guess that holiday tricks and traditions sometimes come back to haunt you!!! (It took me almost an hour to clean my room, and still I didn't have the heart to get upset with Jefferson. He was so pleased with himself and told me it was the absolute highlight of his day!!!!)
Sigh.
