It's definitely worth having a child go to school, just for the exciting "Back to School" shopping! Jefferson very patiently endured a shopping trip with his Mommy and Aunts for his back-to-school wardrobe last week. I think we all had a good time, especially going out to eat for lunch afterwards! But seriously - look at this picture. Can you believe that my "baby" went from a newborn size to SIZE 8 JEANS in just 5 1/2 years???!!! We've officially graduated from the "boys' 4-7" sizes to the "boys' 8-20" sizes at Kohls!! Countdown to kindergarten: 3 days!

"Back to School" shopping!!!
It's definitely worth having a child go to school, just for the exciting "Back to School" shopping! Wow....isn't it amazing how much growth children experience!!?
Shopping with you made me REALLY want to be doing school shopping for myself.
New backpack with a hundred pockets, freshly sharpened pencils, brightly-colored crayons, lined paper with thousands of possibilities, and oh yeah--the new clothes!!
That's a lot of growth in 5.5 years its amazing. I can't believe he is really starting school but then again it seems he should have started last year. Stinks to be the oldest in the class I bet. haha
Hope he has a great first day of school.
