In the end, Jefferson came up with his very own idea for Show and Tell! Pretty clever, too. He noticed that the skull and crossbones on his pirate treasure bag look like an "x," so he wanted to take that. Then he got all excited and said, "And Mom . . . "X" marks the spot!" So we made a treasure map, and sent it along with the pirate gold. Funny how kids can turn "complicated" into "simple." Now, why didn't I think of that??!!
